'GOVT WORKING FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURE'

Minister for Agriculture Gaurishankar Chaudhary has said that the government was working for the sustainable development of agriculture sector.


After an inspection visit of a fish hatchery at Jhalari Pipaladi Municipality-1 in Kanchanpur, he said that the job of feedback collection is going on to unveil new programs in the upcoming budget for the broader development of agriculture sector.


Minister Chaudhary said that the new budget would bring programs for making the country self-sustaining in oilseeds, pulse, food crops, fish, meat, and vegetables in a decade.


Saying that Prime Minister Agriculture Modernization Project is in operation for sustainable development of agriculture, Minister for Agriculture Chaudhary said that the government was committed to making the country independent in seeds and fertilizers as well as mechanization and modernization of the agri-sector.
